Stonnington Design Bookmark Competition - And Winners Are…

The City of Stonnington is delighted to announce the winners of this year's Design a Stonnington Library Bookmark Competition.

Three winners: Allegra, age 8, winner of the 5-to-8-year-old category, Amy age 11, winner of the 9-to-12-year-old category, and Mima, age 16, winner of the 13-to-17-year-old category, will have their designs featured on a bookmark, with each taking home a fantastic prize pack of books and art supplies.

Held as part of Children's Book Week, (17 to 23 August 2024), children living or going to school in Stonnington were invited to use this year's theme, Reading is magic, to inspire their own bookmark design.

The competition attracted more than 80 entries, proving the competition's popularity and enthusiasm among our community's bright and up-and-coming artists, painters, designers and illustrators.

The bookmarks will be made available for free across our libraries.

Well done to all our competition entrants and congratulations to this year's winners.
