Stonnington residents can again cool-off for free and beat the heat on Thursday 22 February at our two public pools.
Residents are invited to once again come down to the Prahran Aquatic Centre from 5.45am to 7.45pm and at the Harold Holt Swim Centre from 5.45am until 9pm.
The Prahran Aquatic Centre is at 41 Essex Street, Prahran and the Harold Holt Swim Centre is at 1409 -1413 High Street, Glen Iris.
Note: free access is only for the pools, other facilities remain subject to usual fees.
Stonnington's libraries will also be open for those looking to escape the heat.
Malvern Library (High Street) and Toorak/South Yarra library (Toorak Rd) will be open from 10am – 8pm, while libraries at Phoenix Park in Malvern East and Prahran Square will be open from 10am – 6pm. All are air-conditioned and offer a comfortable space to spend the day.
