Northern Territory Police responded to a structure fire at a residence in Gapuwiyak overnight.
At 9:30pm, police received reports that a stilted residence within the community was currently on fire.
Officers attended the scene, utilising a small tank fire trailer, and attempted to contain the fire. The fire spread throughout the structure and caused significant damage to the residence.
Everyone inside the residence self-evacuated, with a woman in her 60's requiring treatment for minor injuries to her face.
Investigations in the cause of the blaze are currently ongoing.
