Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) are investigating a structure fire that occurred at a residence on Kraegen Street in The Gap overnight.
At 1:20am, NTFRS received reports of a residence engulfed in flames.
Upon arrival, firefighters located the occupant outside. She had suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation and was in shock.
The flames were extinguished by attending firefighters.
St John Ambulance conveyed the woman to Alice Springs Hospital for further assessment.
The house was significantly damaged and fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
