Structure Fire In Alice Springs 8 October

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) and Northern Territory Police responded to a structure fire in Alice Springs yesterday afternoon.

At around 1.10pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports of a residential building on fire in McKinlay Street in Braitling. The residence sustained substantial damage as a result of the fire.

No persons were inside the residence at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

NTFRS extinguished the fire and NT Police established a crime scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however it is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
