Nominations for the Bayside annual Mayoral Student Awards are now open.
Each year Bayside Council invites Principals from the 42 Bayside schools - primary and secondary - to nominate students for the Mayoral Student Awards.
Each school may nominate two students for the awards. These awards recognise students who demonstrate kindness, a respect for others and go above and beyond to positively contribute to the school community.
Winning students will be presented with a 2024 Student Excellence Award Certificate and a gift voucher at a ceremony in the Botany Town Hall on Thursday 5 December 2024.
Mayor Edward McDougall said
"These annual awards are run by Bayside Council to promote excellence in local schools," Mayor Edward McDougall said.
"I encourage all Principals to get their nominations in before the closing date."
