The NSW Stronger Country Communities Fund Round 5 projects have been announced with 14 community projects in the Shoalhaven benefiting from almost $3 million in grant funding.
This funding administered by Regional NSW, saw the state government commit $160 million in total, including up to $50 million for projects delivered by eligible community organisations.
Shoalhaven City Mayor Amanda Findley said Council staff and community groups worked hard to secure the latest round of grants that will boost the wellbeing of our local communities by providing new and upgraded playgrounds and sporting facilities.
