Almost 300 industry representatives and geologists were given a snapshot of the state's minerals sector at the Victorian Minerals Round-up in Ballarat last week.
Coordinated by the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and supported by Resources Victoria as the conference's Geoscience Partner, the Victorian Minerals Round-up is the only resources event covering the complete range of mineral commodities produced in Victoria.
Over two days, conference speakers supplied insights into the state's critical minerals potential, presented geoscientific data supporting exploration and updated estimates of Victoria's mineral resources.
Resources Victoria's presentations focussed on an increased understanding of several critical minerals occurrences in the state and tips to improve industry data reporting to government, which benefits future exploration investment.
