Brisbane, QLD - Locals are set to enjoy a heartfelt performance by Suellen Cusack, Australia's #1 Female Classical Crossover Artist at SunPAC. Following the success of her performances on The BRAVO Cruise of the Performing Arts, Suellen is delighted to perform 'My Heart Is In Ireland' at 11am on Thursday 13 March.
'My Heart Is In Ireland' is a celebration of Ireland's rich musical heritage, and with her deep Irish roots and heartfelt delivery, Suellen will transport audiences to the soul of Ireland in every note.
"I'm excited to return to SunPAC in Sunnybank Hills in Brisbane to perform some of my favourite Irish songs as a homage to my, and my father's heritage. My heart is in Ireland a reminder that No matter where you are in the world, we always manage to find an Irish connection, a connection that reminds us of the homeland.
I like the term 'Daughter of an Irishman'. I've been trying to use it on my socials. Just so it's clear that I'm not the one that's Irish but it's my father's heritage."
Accompanied by two outstanding musicians, violinist Kate Hardisty and pianist Catherine Broadstock, whose artistry adds warmth and depth to the performance. Together, they create a powerful musical experience, weaving together songs that resonate with both beauty and emotion.
The concert features timeless Irish classics, including Black Velvet Band, The Irish Rover, Molly Malone, and Danny Boy, each performed with passion and authenticity. Tickets can be purchased online.
