Summer 2024 Product Safety Recalls Announced

This summer OPSS is urging the public to check and ensure they are not using products that have been recalled, to help protect people from product related harm. If you have purchased any of the products listed below, then you must not use it and contact the seller to return the item immediately.

Graham Russell, Chief Executive of OPSS said:

As people enjoy their well-earned holidays, we have been stepping up our actions to tackle unsafe products that could have tragic consequences during this summer. If you are preparing to use something like a life jacket, check it is still in good condition and is not on the list of recalled, unsafe products.

Minister for Employment Rights, Competition and Markets, Justin Madders said:

While we're all hoping for a warm and enjoyable summer, we also want the public to be safe as well. That's why it's important that consumers take note of these recalls.

These recalls exist to save and protect lives, so I urge the public to check what they're buying, ensure they're from reputable brands, and check what you may have already bought hasn't since been recalled.
