Summer Nights Hits New Heights At Elizabeth Quay

Elizabeth Quay has serenaded summer like never before, with the Lotterywest Summer Nights series bringing eight consecutive nights of celebrations to the Quay, wowing crowds with spectacular live entertainment, delicious food, and nightly fireworks.

More than 20,000 people flocked to Elizabeth Quay to enjoy a diverse line up of events and experiences set on a floating stage in the Quay, thanks to our partner Lotterywest.

City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said Elizabeth Quay has been the place to celebrate summer in our City, with Festive Nights kicking off summer, and record crowds for New Year's Eve.

"Summer Nights has set the tone for a bumper season of summer events and made it clear that Elizabeth Quay is Perth's premium event precinct."

"The City has been absolutely buzzing, with thousands coming together to enjoy our beautiful summer evenings – it's been amazing to see Elizabeth Quay come alive every night for eight consecutive nights!" said Mr Zempilas.

"The diverse event had it all with dance, musical acts, sing-alongs, movies, DJ sets, circus acts and performances from WAAPA students – all from a floating stage in the Quay," said Zempilas.

"A special thanks to our event partners Lotterywest, Network 10, DevelopmentWA, and Lux Events - your invaluable support really brought this vibrant event series to life in our City," he said.

"A massive thanks also goes to Cardile for eight fantastic fireworks displays – it's been our biggest summer of fireworks, and it's been amazing to see the response.

"And we're not finished yet. Next weekend we have a final spectacular round of fireworks and drones ready to go for the Hancock Prospecting Australia Day celebrations. There'll be a whole day of family fun at Langley Park, so come on down, settle in and enjoy the spectacle in our great City of Light as we reflect, respect and celebrate together for Australia Day."
