Make a splash this summer in Grafton with Clarence Valley Council's Summer Splash program of sponsored activities.
At the Council meeting in October, councillors unanimously endorsed the allocation of $70,000 to create a program of alternative activities to compensate for the closure of Grafton Olympic Pool.
"The Clarence Valley will soon be home to a state-of-the-art aquatic centre replacing the current, dilapidated pool which was built in 1959," Clarence Valley Council General Manager Laura Black said.
