All waves will be heading south this weekend for a feast of festivals featuring sun, surf, skating and great live music!
The surfing action gets pumping at Jones Beach with Surfing NSW's Her Wave Teams Classic on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April before the Sun Up Surf and Skate Festival ups the ante and gets cranking on Sunday from 8am.
While the surfers cut up the water, onshore, skaters will be pounding the pavement on a pop up skatepark that will be dominating the Jones Beach carpark.
There'll be demos and FREE skate coaching to sharpen up your kickflips, grinds and ollies.
Not a skater or surfer? There will also be free workshops on hand-drumming, tie-dying, strength training and yoga, with live music and food stalls rounding out the festival vibe.
Down the road, the SurfLife Music Festival at Gerringong kicks off on Friday night with headliners Tex Perkins and Matt Walker, with locals Pacific Avenue taking the stage Saturday night.
The Surf Expo during Saturday is a smorgasboard of live music and talks, there's the surfboard swap meet and 'surf-mobile' car and van show.
Kiama Council, through Destination Kiama, is proudly supporting these great events along with Surfing NSW, the AVCON Foundation and the Department of Regional NSW.
