Get ready to cheer on our Gold Coast Paralympians at the City's dedicated live sites this weekend.
A big screen will be set up on stage at the Main Lawn in Broadwater Parklands so Gold Coasters can get together and show their support for the Paralympians.
"Our Paralympians have already made us so proud in Paris and this is our chance to get behind them," Acting Mayor Donna Gates said.
"Dress in green and gold, bring your loudest voice, and get ready to cheer on our athletes as they go for gold.
"While you are there have a go at painting a 'Go Aussie' poster and try your hand at making your own Paralympic medal."
The live site will be running from 8pm to 2pm on Saturday in conjunction with the Broadwater Pavilion markets with plenty of food trucks and stalls.
On Sunday, head on down between 10am and 2pm to see all the action on the big screen as well as get a chance to participate in your own mini Olympics.
Sportacular games, poster art and medal making will be set up on the mini lawn at the parklands for anyone to join in throughout the weekend.
There will be a chance to congratulate some of the athletes in person with a Welcome Home for Olympians and Paralympians at HOTA on from 8.30am to 10.30am on Sunday, 22 September.
