Support others and their mental health

Do you want to improve your knowledge of mental illnesses and their treatments?

Do you want to increase your confidence in helping someone experiencing a mental illness?

An upcoming course will teach you how to provide initial support to other adults who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or problem until appropriate professional help is received.

About 20 per cent of Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year.

Completing an MHFA course will help you to develop the skills to support a friend, family member or co-worker.

It is faciliated by an accredited mental health first aider.

Date: Saturday and Sunday, December 4 and 5.

Time: 9.30am to 4pm.

Venue: Meeting Rooms upstairs at The Hyphen, 126 Hovell St, Wodonga.

Cost: $45 per person which includes unlimited water, tea and coffee, morning tea and lunch on both days.
