Surfers, Learn How To Stop Blood Loss From Ocean Injury

TacMed Military Medics will be conducting a one-off trauma and bleeding control course for surfers and ocean-users at Broulee this Friday 21 February.

Attendees will learn skills that can save a life from traumatic and severe injuries like shark attack, fin chop, propeller injury and severe lacerations and puncture wounds. The hands-on course requires participants to get wet and involves the use of fake blood.

This free course runs from 1.45-5pm at South Broulee Beach – sun protection and swimwear required. Spots are limited and bookings essential
