Susan Martin to Address Global Migration Trends at FSU

Susan Martin, Donald G. Herzberg Professor Emerita and founding director of the Institute for the Study of International Migration within the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, will speak at Florida State University about current trends in international migration.

The lecture, "Global to Local: Current Trends in International Migration," is sponsored by the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy's Ruth K. & Shepard Broad International Lecture Series and the Center for Global Engagement's Engage Your World Speaker Series.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in The Globe Auditorium, 110 S. Woodward Ave., Tallahassee, Fla.

A pre-lecture reception will take place at 5 p.m. Attendees can park in either the Traditions Parking Garage (860 Traditions Way) or the Pensacola Parking Garage (410 Walker St.) without an FSU permit after 4:30 p.m.
