Greensborough Highway Patrol officers have impounded a car being driven by a p-plater with a suspended licence in Reservoir this morning.
Officers first spotted the grey Nissan Maxima travelling on Plenty Road with no headlights, about 12.20am.
The car was intercepted and the suspended p-plate driver, a 20-year-old Greensborough man, underwent a preliminary breath test.
The Greensborough man returned an alleged evidentiary reading of .15.
The vehicle was impounded for 30 days with a total cost of $999.52.
He is expected to be charged with drink driving and other traffic offences.
