Do you have troublesome weeds on your property? Why not trade them in for some free, locally native plants?
Cardinia Shire Council and the Friends of Emerald Lake Park are hosting a 'Trees for Weeds' swap day at Emerald Library.
Residents are invited to come along with a bag full sample of weeds to swap for a free native plant. Our experts will be happy to help with identifying weed species and offer advice on ways to control weeds on your property, as well as some free indigenous plants to take home.
Everyone welcome! Don't forget your weeds!
Trees for Weeds swap day
Date: Saturday 3 September
Time: 10am–2pm
