A NSW man is looking forward to a future filled with luxury travel and financial security after a life-changing win in the recent Lotto Strike draw.
The southern Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 5442, drawn Saturday 25 May 2024 and took home a total prize of $606,230.10.
He discovered his newfound fortune straight after the draw on Saturday night.
“Thank you so much,” the Bexley local laughs.
“It was late on Saturday night, and I decided to check my ticket straight after the draw, which was a mistake because I struggled to go to sleep.
“But don’t get me wrong, finding out about the win was amazing.
“I rang my partner and my mum straight away and told them the news. We can’t believe it.
“I buy a ticket every week into the Lotto Strike draws. It’s something I like to treat myself to.
“This will really help my future.
“I want to use the win wisely and really think ahead. I want to set myself up for retirement and make it an investment.
“I will have a bit of fun and go on some holidays. I’ve been through south-east Asia so maybe it’s time to go to America for a change.
“We’ll be flying business class for sure!”
His winning entry was a 3-game QuickPick (randomly picked numbers).
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5443 on Saturday 25 May 2024 were 38, 22, 35 and 8.
Lotto Strike is an add-on game played with Saturday Lotto and Weekday Windfall. Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four numbers in the exact order they are drawn during the Lotto draw.
If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw in same order drawn, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot for the next draw.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 373 so far in FY24, including 126 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
