Sydney North-west: Unsworn Employee Faces DUI Charge

A NSW Police unsworn employee has been charged with drink-driving after being arrested in The Hills overnight.

The staff member – who is attached to a specialist command – was stopped on Green Road at Kellyville about 9.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 March 2025), due to the manner of driving.

A roadside breath test proved positive, and the 51-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station where she returned a breath analysis with an alleged reading of 0.166.

She has been charged with high-range PCA and is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on 3 April 2025. Her licence has been suspended.

The staff member's employment status is under review.
