Symposium: Food Waste | From Excess To Enough

During the Waste-Free week, on September 12, the Food Waste, From Excess to Enough Symposium will take at Wageningen University. Academics and practitioners will come to the campus to engage with thought leaders, participate in dynamic table discussions, and learn how to translate cutting-edge research into practical solutions to reduce food waste.

The symposium features keynote presentations by Toine Timmermans from Food Waste Free United and Tilman Eichstädt from HelloFresh. Though-providing insights from research will be presented, intermixed with experiences from industry experts such as Too Good To Go. Application of research to real-world practices will be central in interactive table discussions with project partners (e.g., Food Waste Free United, Netherlands Nutrition Centre, Iglo, Hak, HelloFresh and more).
