Five people have been charged with trafficking in the past two weeks following a number of seizures on the North West Coast.
A 47-year-old Spreyton woman was charged after police seized quantities of ice, cocaine, ecstasy, ephedrine, cannabis, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime.
The woman is due to appear in the Devonport Magistrate Court in June.
In a separate investigation, a 38-year-old Burnie man was charged with trafficking after police seized 2 kilograms of cannabis at a private Burnie residence.
He will appear in court at a later date.
A third independent investigation resulted in three people being charged with trafficking after police seized a kilogram of cannabis, 38 plants, a quantity of seeds, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime from a private residence at Frankford.
A 48-year-old Frankford man, 47-year-old Devonport man, and 70-year-old East Devonport man were all charged with trafficking and will appear in court at a later date.
There is no evidence to suggest the three seizures were linked.
Detective Inspector Michelle Elmer said the result showcased Tasmania Police's commitment to reducing the harm associated with the use of illicit drugs in Tasmania.
"Tasmania is a safe place to live and has one of the lowest crime rates in the country. However, illicit drugs are a concern to police and we take drug trafficking very seriously," she said.
"Anyone seeking to profit by selling harmful drugs to Tasmanians should know that we will be targeting them and their activities."
Anyone with information about drug crime within the Tasmanian community should contact police on 131 444 or report anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at crimestopperstas.com.au.
