With Federal funding for the Mornington Roundabout delivered, it's also time for the state government to get moving on the critical infrastructure project that is widely regarded as one of the worst roundabouts in Hobart. The Liberals have been promising this project for 11 years, but have never come close to delivering it.
No matter where I travel in Tasmania, one of the main issues people talk to me about is their local economy. Tasmanians are proud of their communities, and Labor shares their vision of seeing every region thrive through the creation of safe, secure, well-paid jobs.
With the Pembroke election taking place in May, we'll also be discussing how important it is that Luke Edmunds is returned.
Luke has been an outstanding advocate for the Eastern Shore over the past two years and a vote for him will ensure the Eastern Shore keeps a strong, local voice representing Pembroke in the Tasmanian Parliament and holding the Liberal Government to account.
