A Tassie local is the new winner of a division one prize from Saturday's TattsLotto draw, yet remains unaware of their windfall.
This win forms part of a unique jackpot distribution where 13 players across Australia each secured an identical prize in the same draw.
The mystery ticketholder from Latrobe held one of the 13 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4509, drawn Saturday 5 October 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $401,209.07.
However, as the winning entry was not registered to a player card, officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the ticketholder of their win and instead must wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Latrobe Newsagency, 90 Gilbert Street, Latrobe.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he hoped Tasmania’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they won more than $400,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” he said.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Latrobe Newsagency to check their tickets today!
“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you won division one! Your plans for the rest of the year and into the future would quickly change!
“Make sure you check your tickets, Latrobe, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4509 on 5 October 2024 were 13, 30,18, 24, 27 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 41 and 26.
Across Australia, there were 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4509 – four each in Queensland and Victoria, two in New South Wales, and one each in Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
