Teacher Charged With Child Sex Offences in Campbelltown

A teacher has been charged over historical sexual offences in Sydney's southwest.

In July 2023, detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command commenced an investigation regarding the alleged actions of a male high school teacher in Sydney's southwest dating back to 2020 and 2021.

Following extensive inquiries, about 12:30pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 September 2024), a 28-year-old man was arrested at Auburn police station.

The man was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault – victim under authority of offender and aggravated – sexually touch another person.

The man was refused bail to appear before Burwood Local Court later today (Wednesday 11 September 2024).
