Teacher Charged With Sexual Offences - Southwest Sydney

A teacher has been charged over alleged sexual offences in Sydney's south west.

Yesterday (Tuesday 6 August 2024), detectives attached to the Liverpool City Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a 17-year-old teenage boy had been sexually touched by a female teacher.

Following inquiries, investigators attended a school in Lurnea where they arrested a 30-year-old woman.

She was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with sexually touch person between 17 & 18 under special care and sexual intercourse with person under care between 17 & 18 under special care.

The woman was bail refused to appear before Liverpool Local Court today (Wednesday 7 August 2024).
