Australia's trusted home appliance brand, Technika, teamed up with Satterley and Simonds Homes, supplying $5000 cash, as well as a brand-new oven, rangehood and dishwasher for the largest ever breakfast TV giveaway.
The Today Show ran a nation-wide competition over 12-weeks, giving viewers the chance to win a brand-new home valued at $592,463 in Mickleham, just 45 minutes north of Melbourne CBD.
Main prize winners Melbournians Ella & Jorge walked away with a brand-new house decked out with Technika kitchen appliances, whilst runners up Kai and Emma won $5000, proudly supplied by Technika.
Main winner, Ella Fenton exclaimed her excitement in having a brand-new kitchen and how she plans to use her brand new appliances:
"I love cooking, I really enjoy it. But I have always lived in small apartments… so I'm really excited about the oven…it's nice to have all the space to cook our weekly meals…"
Thanks to Technika, runners up Kai & Emma also received a $5000 cash prize to assist with the beginning of their home building journey. The young winners from Bangalee, NSW exclaimed their excitement in using the $5000 to build a granny flat in their back yard whilst they save for a mortgage
