Teen Arrested After Fatal Shellharbour Stabbing

A teenage boy has been arrested following an investigation into the death of a man near Shellharbour yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Saturn Crescent, Dunmore, about 3pm (Tuesday 28 January 2025), after a 25-year-old man was found critically injured.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for a stab wound to his abdomen; however, he died at the scene.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation, with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

Following inquiries, a 35-year-old woman was charged and remains before the court.

About 3pm today (Wednesday 29 January 2025), detectives arrested a 15-year-old boy at a home in Horsley.

He was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where inquiries are ongoing.
