A teenage boy has been charged over an alleged break and enter in state's north.
About 1am today (Saturday 22 February 2025), police were called to a business on Memorial Avenue, South West Rocks, approximately 35km north east of Kempsey, following reports of an alleged break and enter.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were told an unknown person broke into a business and stole a number e-cigarette and tobacco products and left the scene.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, about 7am on the same day, police arrested a 12-year-old boy in South West Rocks area.
He was taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break and enter and steal, and breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear at children's court today (Saturday 22 February 2025).
