A teenage boy has been charged following an investigation into a stolen car following a break and enter at a home in Armidale.
Between Thursday 6 February 2025 and Friday 7 February 2025, two people allegedly broke into a home on Faulkner Street, Armidale, before stealing a Bentley SUV.
Following extensive investigations, police attended a home in Kempsey and arrested two boys, aged 15 and 16, on Friday 14 February 2025.
They were charged with a range of property and driving offences, and remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, police arrested a 16-year-old boy near Kempsey about 12.10pm on Tuesday 18 February 2025.
Police will allege that the boy travelled in the Bentley and refuelled it at a Nambucca Heads service station following the incident.
He was taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Wednesday 5 March 2025.
