A teenage boy will face court today charged following an investigation into property offences on the North Coast.
In January 2025, police began investigating several break and enter offences in the Grafton area they believed were linked.
Following extensive inquiries, Strike Force Imperium officers executed a search warrant at a South Grafton home yesterday (Wednesday 5 March 2025).
During the search, police allegedly located and seized several items believed to have been stolen including house and car keys, electronics, and various personal cards.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and taken to Grafton Police Station where he was charged with nine offences,
- Goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (three counts)
- Aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence
- Enter prescribed premises of any person without lawful excuse
- Enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner/occupier
- Remain in building/land with intent commit indictable
- Break and enter house etc steal, and
- Larceny.
He was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Thursday 6 March 2025).
