A critical incident investigation is underway after a teenage girl jumped from a building in Sydney's south west.
About 5.30am today (Friday 7 March 2025), officers from Liverpool Police Area Command attended a multi storey carpark on Station Road, Edmondson Park, in relation to a concern for welfare of a 16-year-old girl.
As officers were speaking with the girl she has reportedly jumped from the top level of the carpark.
Officers immediately administered first aid until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics where she was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Police established a crime scene.
A critical incident team from Campsie Police Area Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation will be subject to an independent review.
