A teen who was reported missing near Armidale has been located safe and well.
The 16-year-old boy was last seen at a home in Uralla, approximately 20km south of Armidale, about 1pm today.
When he could not be contacted, officers attached to New England Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the teen was located safe and well in Uralla around 7pm today (Saturday 24 September 2022).
Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.
