A teenage boy has been arrested after a stabbing in Sydney's Inner West.
About 8.35am today (Tuesday 2 July 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing at an educational facility along Parramatta Road, Camperdown.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 22-year-old man at the scene. He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command established a crime scene and were informed that after the incident a male boarded a bus on Parramatta Road.
A short time later officers arrested a 14-year-old boy near Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he is currently assisting with inquiries.
Neither person is believed to be known to one another.
There is no ongoing risk to the community.
