A teenage girl missing from Sydney's inner west has been located safe and well, following a public appeal and geo-targeted message.
The 17-year-old girl was last seen leaving a university campus on Parramatta Road, Camperdown, on foot towards a shopping centre on Bay Street, Glebe, about 2.45pm yesterday (Thursday 11 August 2022).
Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate Sophia after she failed to return to the campus and could not be located.
Following a public appeal and geo-targeted message issued, the girl was located at Waterfall Railway Station about 12.15am today (Friday 12 August 2022).
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
