Police are investigating after a 17-year-old was forced into a car at Somerton Park last night.
About 10pm on Thursday 26 January, the teenage boy was walking along the Esplanade, near Yarrum Grove, Somerton Park, when a white car stopped alongside him.
The car contained four men, who spoke to the youth as they slowly drove next to him.
Two men got out the rear of the vehicle and forced the teenager into the back seat of the car and drove off.
The car slowed down at the roundabout of Pier Street and Partridge Street, Glenelg, and the teenager was able to get out of the vehicle.
He ran home and alerted police.
Fortunately, the teenager was not physically injured or threatened during this incident.
The men are described as aged in their 30s to early 40s.
The first suspect is of Caucasian appearance, possibly in his late 30s to early 40s, about 190 cm tall, with a large build and a bit of a belly. He had a full black beard with a large amount of grey in it and was wearing a dark grey hoodie.
The second suspect is also of Caucasian appearance, and described as a bit younger and shorter than the first man. He has a muscular build and was wearing a white beanie and an orange t-shirt.
