A teenager has died while performing maintenance on a vehicle in the state's Southern Highlands.
About 1.15pm today (Sunday 26 May 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle collapsing on a male in the driveway of a home on Ethridge Street, Mittagong.
Officers from the Hume Police District were informed that a 17-year-old teenager was performing maintenance beneath the vehicle at the time.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the teenager, but he died at the scene.
A crime scene was established.
There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
