Teens arrested after city robbery, South Australia

Four boys have been arrested following an aggravated robbery in Adelaide last night.

Just before 9.30pm Wednesday 7 November, the victim was walking on Victoria Drive when he was approached by four teenagers. It will be alleged the teens threatened the 21-year-old victim with a knife and demanded money. When the victim refused he was allegedly assaulted and his grey Adidas running shoes stolen. The victim was not seriously injured.

The victim managed to retain his mobile phone and kept a cool head, ringing police immediately and providing a description and that he had last seen the four offenders fleeing toward King William Road.

Police patrols flooded the area located the four suspects and the victim's shoes at a fast food outlet on Pulteney Street.

A 16-year-old from Golden Grove, two 15-year-olds from Modbury and Adelaide, and a 13-year-old from Royston Park were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. They were all refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today.
