Teens Charged After Aggravated Burglaries, Armed Robberies

Eastern Region Crime Squad detectives have been charged following a spate of armed robberies across multiple Melbourne suburbs this morning.

Two of the boys were arrested by the Special Operations Group on the Princes Freeway in Officer about 5.15pm. While the other two boys were arrested in Clayton this afternoon.

The four boys have since been charged in relation to a series of alleged offending in Melbourne's eastern suburbs including multiple aggravated burglaries where motor vehicles were stolen and armed robberies at service stations targeting the theft of cigarettes.

A 17-year-old Pakenham boy has been charged with 23 offences multiple counts of aggravated burglary, armed robbery and theft of motor vehicle.

A 16-year-old Pakenham boy has been charged with 17 offences including aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, armed robbery and drive in manner dangerous.

A 15-year-old Frankston boy has been charged with 10 offences including aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle and armed robbery.

A 14-year-old Doveton boy has been charged with eight offences theft of moto vehicle and armed robbery.

All those charged will face a childrens court at a later date.
