Council advises that the ScrapMart tip shop at Cooma Landfill is temporary closed until Saturday 30 November 2024, due to aggressive anti-social behaviour directed at our staff.
While most visitors to Council facilities conduct themselves appropriately, staff are experiencing an increase in anti-social behaviour and this will not be tolerated.
Those looking to donate items for resale are encouraged to visit one of our two other ScrapMart locations, located in Bombala and Jindabyne, while the Cooma facility is closed.
Bombala ScrapMart at Bombala Landfill is open on Saturdays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and Sundays from 11am to 3.30pm.
Jindabyne ScrapMart at Jindabyne Landfill is open on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
Council appreciates the community's understanding during this temporary closure.
