Council provides the following update to residents of the temporary road closures in the LGA;
• Sodwalls Road
• Tarana Road
• Diamond Swamp Road (from the Curly Dick Intersection)
• Hazelgrove Road
"These road closures have been put in place for safety of the residents due to flooding over the causeways," said Council's Director Infrastructure Services, Jonathon Edgecombe. "Staff were called to the scene by our local SES and Police Rescue teams at midnight last night. They worked through the night, assisting residents with access, closely monitoring the road network and making changes to traffic flow where necessary."
