Lithgow Council
Council provides the following update to residents of the temporary road closures in the LGA;
- Geordie Street Crossing, Lithgow
- Mills Street, Lithgow
- Hazelgrove Road, Tarana
- Sodwalls Tarana Road, Sodwalls
- Ganbenang Road, Kanimbla Valley
- Glen Davis Road, Glen Davis
- Pipers Flat Road, Pipers Flat
These road closures have been put in place for safety of the residents due to flooding over the roads and causeways.
Aside from these closures, please be aware that the local, regional, and state road network is suffering because of the ongoing effects of significant inclement weather. Council urges the community to avoid non-essential travel.
Council appreciates the patience of the community and advises that changed traffic conditions must be observed by all motorists travelling through the area.
