A group of ten lucky punters from Melbourne are celebrating a major win, sharing a $1 million prize from the weekend's TattsLotto draw. Each member of the syndicate now finds themselves $104,807.48 richer following TattsLotto draw 4473 on Saturday, 1 June 2024.
Each division one winning entry scored a prize worth $1,048,013.90 from the $1 million Division One prize but the syndicate’s 50-game QuickPick entry also scored division five and division six 5 times, bolstering their total prize to $1,048,074.80.
Entries into the winning store syndicate were set up by Sunshine Plaza News & Lotto, Shop T11, Sunshine Plaza, 324-328 Hampshire Road, Sunshine. Entries were also sold at Flemington Lotto, 294 Racecourse Road, Flemington.
However, some members of the Melbourne syndicate may have yet to realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.
The Sunshine Plaza News & Lotto manager Tom Pham said his team were so happy and over the moon to have sold a division one winning syndicate.
“How lucky are we! This is our second division one winning entry sold this year and we can’t believe it’s come around again so soon,” he said.
“This syndicate consisted of 250 games for 10 shares and myself and my colleague Xuan Tran have been running this syndicate every Saturday for our regulars.
“These 10 syndicate members have come in every week to support us, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Everyone is so nice and supportive, and we’re glad they picked up a $1 million win.
“Congratulations to every single one of our syndicate members and we can’t wait to see some of you discover your win in-store.”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell congratulated members of the winning syndicate and emphasised the impact a win like this could have.
