The future of the Leppington Oval Precinct is set to take shape soon after Council accepted a tender for its design at last night's ordinary meeting.
The Leppington Oval Masterplan, which was endorsed by Council in September this year, sets the vision for the site which identifies a new open space precinct that will include the development of a new recreation and open space precinct, incorporating the existing Leppington Oval, also known as Pat Kontista Reserve.
The precinct, which identifies three sections, will include:
- Three full playing fields;
- Three tennis courts;
- One multi-purpose court;
- Outdoor fitness stations;
