The Territory Tourism Discount Scheme will be extended for holiday experiences in the Central Australia and Barkly regions to provide more support to tourism operators in Alice Springs, Yulara and Tennant Creek.
The Scheme, which launched in late February, provides 25 per cent off the price of tourism and hospitality packages across the Territory up to a maximum value of $5000, if they are booked through visitor information centres.
The popular discounts will be extended to 30 June 2024, for select experiences and holidays booked through Visitor Information Centres in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Yulara.
Tourism Central Australia have some amazing packages on offer including multi-attraction tickets and stay and dine packages.
From Alice Springs and surrounds to Uluru to Kings Canyon to the West MacDonnell ranges there are many tourism experiences and hospitality products on offer from helicopter tours to fossicking for hidden treasures to relaxing at a resort in Alice Springs.
In the Barkly region there is plenty to explore for visitors and locals whether it's checking out the amazing Devils Marbles/Karlu Karlu, exploring ancient cultural history at the Nyinkka Nyunyu Cultural Centre or booking an underground mine tour at the Battery Hill Gold Mining and Heritage Centre this region has plenty on offer.
The Territory Tourism Discount scheme is available for all transactions of up to $5,000 in the Central and Barkly regions up to 30 June 2024 with the discount applied to bookable products at point of sale and available to be used for multiple bookings during the scheme period.
