Three people have been charged following an alleged fatal stabbing in Sydney's Inner West in September.
About 7.40pm on Monday 23 September 2024, emergency services responded to reports of a man being stabbed on Marrickville Road, Marrickville.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the injured man; however, the 32-year-old could not be revived and died at the scene.
Police secured a crime scene and an investigation under Strike Force Nogales was established to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death, with the assistance of detectives from State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
Following investigations, about 5.40pm on Wednesday 25 September 2024, a 31-year-old man was arrested at Concord.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station where he was charged with murder. He remains before the court.
Following further inquiries, about 7:30am today (Wednesday 6 November 2024), a 55-year-old woman was arrested at a home on Harrow Road, Bexley and taken to Kogarah Police Station.
The woman was charged with accessory after the fact to murder, and was granted conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 26 November 2024.
About 9am today, two women, aged 29 and 62, were arrested at a property on Diadem Lane, Lismore.
They were both taken to Lismore Police Station, with the 29-year-old charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
She was refused bail and will appear before Lismore Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 7 November 2024).
The 62-year-old woman was charged with conceal serious indictable offence and granted conditional bail to appear before Lismore Local Court on Monday 2 December 2024.
