Three Charged With Drug Supply Offences in Tuggerah Lakes

Three people will face court today charged with drug supply related offences in the State's Central Coast.

In May 2024, Tuggerah Lakes Police District detectives commenced an investigation under Strike Force Peterborough into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in the Central Coast area.

Following extensive inquiries, about 9.20am yesterday (Tuesday 6 June 2023), police executed three search warrants at homes in Blue Haven and Halekulani.

During the searches, police located multiple alleged prohibited drugs, mobile phones, an expendable baton and ammunition.

The items were seized to undergo further forensic examination.

Three people, a 32-year-old man and two women, aged 30 and 33, were arrested at the properties and taken to Wyong Police Station.

The 30-year-old woman was charged with possess of prohibited drug and breach of bail.

The 32-year-old man was charged with Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, and four counts of possess prohibited drug.

The 33-year-old woman was charged with 40 offences including,

- Supply prohibited drug

- Take part supply prohibited drug

- Knowingly direct activities of criminal group

All three were refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court today (Thursday 8 August 2024).
