Three hotel employees have been charged over the alleged assault of a man at a licensed premises on the state's Mid North Coast last month.
About 12.30am on Saturday 14 December 2024, officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District attended a home in Tuncurry.
The resident, a 54-year-old man, was found suffering head injuries and lacerations after allegedly being assaulted while being removed by staff from a licensed premises on Manning Street, Tuncurry.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Manning Base Hospital where he was also treated for fractures to his ribs and vertebrae.
Following an investigation, three people were arrested on Monday (6 January 2025) and taken to Forster Police Station.
A 29-year-old man was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was refused bail and appeared at Taree Local Court where he was granted conditional bail to reappear at Forster Local Court on Wednesday 26 February 2025.
A 33-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
A 20-year-old was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
They were both granted conditional bail to appear at Forster Local Court on Wednesday 12 February 2025.
