Three injured in Toolern Vale head on collision

Police and emergency services responded to a two car collision in Toolern Vale last night (9 March) which left three people with serious injuries.

It is alleged a black Subaru RX was driving west on the Melton Highway at a fast speed, when it collided head on with an oncoming silver Ford station wagon about 10.20pm.

The two male occupants of the Ford, both French nationals aged in their late 20s, were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Subaru, a 32-year-old Redesdale man, also sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation remains ongoing.
